Seeking Alpha Cites Datamyne in Inquiry into Tesla Deliveries

Trade data first published by the Datamyne blog figures in an article in Seeking Alpha about an apparent discrepancy between the number of battery-powered cars Tesla says it’s delivered, and the numbers reported by independent sources.

The analysis, by Michael Blair, totes up US registrations, estimates on domestic deliveries from the Wall Street Journal, and estimates on exported vehicles based on Datamyne data … and comes up with a total 17,161 vehicles that falls short of the 21,821 reported by Tesla.

The trade data was published in the Datamyne blog’s profile of Tesla as exporter.
